Property Description
Thee Hubbell House is located in the historical district of Winnsboro, Texas, a quaint town of 3000. It is located on a two-acre estate with four historically marked houses (Texas Historical Marker.) The estate dates back to 1888. The main mansion is a plantation colonial two story, the carriage house is a two story servant quarters building, the spa house is a one story building that served as a playhouse for the grandchildren of the estate owner, and the cottage is a California bungalow which was built by the estate owner as a gift for his daughter. The two-acre estate is completely landscaped with seasonal flowers and shrubs. There are also the traditional trees such as oak, magnolia, etc. There are garden benches, swings, rocking chairs, and platform rockers throughout the acreage to enjoy the scenery.

Rose Room - Double Bed Antique Decor-Double Bed-Private Bath This is the smallest room in the mansion that once served as a sleeping porch. It has white wicker antique furnishings, double bed which is white rod-iron with a headboard canopy, and private bathroom with a shower.
Colonels Room:
Colonels Room - Queen Bed and a Daybed Antique Decor-Queen and Daybed-Private Bath This is the largest room that is not a suite with a queen antique bed, separate daybed and other antique furnishings, private bath with cast iron tub.
Red Bud or Lilac:
Red Bud or Lilac Rooms - 2 Double Beds Covered Veranda-Antique Decor-Private Bath Either upstairs or downstairs room opening off to a covered veranda with two antique double beds and other antique pices, private bath with tub and shower, and refreshment bar with continental breakfast items.
Master Suite:
Master Suite with a King Bed King Canopy-Private Dining Area-Veranda-Spa This is the largest room on the estate. It is furnished with period furnishings including a king brass canopy 4-poster bed, fireplace, private dining area, private bath with clawfoot tub, private veranda with amenities of complimentary use of the spa house, fresh flowers, fruit basket, sparkling drink and full plantation breakfast.
Governors Room:
Governors Room - Queen Size Bed Antique Decor-Queen and Daybed-Private Bath This is a nice size room with an antique queen bed with a separate daybed and other antique furinishings with private bath with cast iron tub.
Magnolia Suite:
Magnolia Suite - Queen Bed Sitting Room-Private Bathroom-Queen Canopy This is a two room suite with a large sitting room with white washed wicher furnishings and a large bedroom with a queen headboard canopy bed. The bath is of course private with a shower.
Blue Bonnet-Pecan:
Blue Bonnet-China Rose-Pecan or Dog Wood Room Covered Veranda-Antique Decor-Private Bath Either upstairs or downstairs room opening off to a covered veranda with antique queen bed and other antique pieces. Private bath with tub and shower and refreshments bar with countertop refrigerator, microwave and coffee maker for a continental breakfast.
The Little Hogg House:
Private cottage with king size bed and shower made for 2.
